There were a number of black slave owners, and slave runners, and as well, there were white slaves (who the left ignorantly call “indentured servants”, but who were in every sense of th3 word really slaves with no way out. White slaves were actuslly easier to obtain, and much cheaper because slaves didn’t have to go as far to round them up, and slave owners often worked them to death or beat them to death because they were cheaper to replace.)
Simply because the liberal narrative holds that only whites can the the oppressor of people of color.

Blaming ALL whites is a way to avoid blaming SOME whites. In the US, it was the Democratic party that was pro-slavery. Better to blame whites that to blame Democrats. The same with Indian removal, segregation, Japanese American internment. It probably works the same way in Europe.
It’s because they don’t really care about slavery or oppression.
