You certainly have something there. The “F” word is in just about every movie now for quite some time. And it is not occasional, it’s practically in every scene for some flicks.
There are many reasons why movies from the 30’s through the 90’s are so watchable. The lack of extreme foul language is one of them.
And there are those that simply do no think taking the Lord’s name in vein is cussing.
No surprise. Criminal activity that has taken place for decades and the sheer size of it demanded a lot of participation for it to continue. Prosecutions, incarcerations, and ill gotten asset seizure are the only remedies. Hope DOJ is up to the job.
I kinda think most Americans, rat or Republican, have known this for years. Until now government corruption has pretty much been an accepted norm. It has been accepted because there’s nothing the average person can do about it. Now we have DJT in charge, and the cockroaches are running like mad to find cover.
Burchett is a different breed. In the interest of full disclosure he’s my congressman. There are very few politicians he has any respect for and the few he does respect have earned it. As our County Mayor (County Executive) he would drop into the morning talk show on his way to the office to reveal government waste in the budget. His first day he turned down the county owned vehicle and reserved parking spot and never changed his mind. Lots of other stories. He’s really one of the good guys with a wicked sense of humor.
Thanks for those stories. He’s an interesting one for sure an this is what I love about FR. I can post about any congressman and there WILL be a constituent who can fill you in. The collective knowledge and reach is amazing...
