I have trolls and dwarves in mine, but those may come from the German side of the family.

My Germans are from the Palatine, 1710

The German immigrant on that side of my family was born in Westphalia in 1805. Came over with two brothers in his early 20’s. Ended up in the midwest.

As far as I know, no one has tracked the family back further in Germany, so we don’t know when they came down out of the caves and started assimilating into human society.

Trolls, I tell you, trolls. I know this because of wide feet, wide fingers, wide/big head, etc. Classic troll stuff that goes way beyond sturdy German peasant stock.
