AOC’s webinar was broadcast all over the country.

The DOJ can pick the venue of its choice.

They have no expectation of putting her in jail. This is all about teaching her a lesson. Tit for Tat. Except in this case she has actually earned it in a legal sense.

This is part of the long game. Chipping away at these leftist loons blocking the law. Death by a thousand paper cuts. These people don’t have what Donald Trump has internally and it will be a lot harder on them because of that.

Re: "With AOC, can you file a criminal charge in some other area?"

Very unlikely in this case.

The most important issue for trial venue is usually where the most important elements of the crime were committed.

With AOC, probably everything important happened in Washington D.C. or her Congressional District.

Still, there are so many bigger fish. This will be a distraction.

Another poster stated that since AOC’s advice was given nationwide, prosecutors could pick any jurisdiction within the United States. A place like Laramie, Wyoming or Tulsa, Oklahoma would be better than Washington, DC or New York City. If she issued the advice in one of the two latter places, you are saying she would have to tried there.

I want us indicting politicians by the dozens.

No single case is good or bad when you do them all.

“Homan cannot indict anybody.
Homan cannot arrest anybody.”

TPTB has been deputizing people; maybe Homan can be deputized.

The way you pick your venue is you arrest some illegals that have evidence they watched AOC’s webinar.

Maybe it is on their computer or phone—or they have made literature that matches her suggested language etc.

Then you can have several different venues to choose from....

If you can dozens of different cases you can indict her for dozens of separate obstruction of justice felonies.

Alternatively if you want to be really mean indict her on the very narrow charge of obstructing one particular case in state A.

Then a month later indict her for obstructing another particular case in state B.

Rinse and repeat month after month after month, state after state after state.

Let her defend ten different charges in ten different venues.

Lol.

AOC should be indicted on her FEC violations with her jive-azz boyfriend from her campaigns.

You go after her for the seminar garbage and you risk making her a martyr.

Which may, of course, be the plan, because if she is the New Donkey Face she may take them all the way down the shitter. But you never know how that is going to play out.

And meanwhile, her campaign money games could actually put her away...

States are sovereign and cannot be commandeered by the federal government to enforce federal law. The decision also applies to counties, Indian reservations and sheriffs.

All the cases I proposed would be federal cases in different federal courts around the country.

Obstructing a federal immigration investigation/prosecution is a federal crime.

It can be prosecuted in the federal courts in the jurisdiction where the federal crime was committed.

It is a federal crime to harbor, aid, etc illegals. Homan spelled it out a few times.

The other federal issue for governors is obstruction of federal investigations.

In the case of New York, for example, the state is intentionally hiding the identities of illegal aliens.

If they fail to release those identities that is a federal crime.

Bondi already sent the governor of New York a warning letter on that issue.
