It is my understanding that Trump is pursuing mineral deals with both Ukraine and Russia, recognizing that key rare earth deposits are in territories controlled by both.

The U.S. aims to secure critical resources while using economic incentives to encourage peace negotiations. Russia has shown openness to a minerals deal, potentially as part of an effort to end the war.

This is a brilliant strategy that uses economic reward to stabilize the region while benefiting all parties involved (including us).

And our presence as business partners is far cheaper, more effective, and much less flammable than boots on the ground.

I have no doubt of it. IMO Trump has decided to bring Putin/Russia into the western fold which should have been done a long time ago.

I just watched an interview with Putin by a foreign press the other day. He was saying he hopes to increase the Russian sale of 15% of US aluminium to 40% and looks forward to US companies operating in Russia helping to produce aluminium and Im sure other products.

First they have to get a peace deal in the Ukraine so everyone can move on to bigger and better endeavors. Trump is now thumping Dependent over the head with the reality stick. He ran back to the EU and is finding out they dont have the money or the military to help him fight a war. Now its just a matter of time until he drags his azz back to DC to get on the cease fire bus.
