It's going fine. In any negotiation, each party comes to a point at which they have to face reality about their leverage. That’s exactly where Zelensky is—realizing he has no real leverage since most of his money and weapons come from the U.S.
He assumed his fawning "backers" from Europe could fill the gap if U.S. support faltered. He’s learning that he was wrong.
We were promised that the war would be resolved very quickly and easily without much difficulty. That hasn’t happened. He should not have promised that. He should have just made it clear that he was the candidate that would pursue a peaceful resolution and that Biden would not to the detriment of everyone involved.
