I’m convinced that such boycotts are pushed by those who know the backlash will lead to more spending.
We saved up our shopping for the week and spent a couple hundred bucks on groceries and office supplies. The store looked like a regular day in a liberal neighborhood in a liberal city in liberal California. I mean Communist not liberal.
Thankfully, this “boycott” did little to no damage.
I’ll bet Gyorgy boy is getting his moneys worth of protesters.

A real non-story. You only heard about it because the activists trying to drum up something have the attention of the media.
Isn’t Trader Joe’s a lib-heavy store? When we lived in CA, it seemed that way. So I am not surprised that it wasn’t busy when you visited.
You pretty much know that any boycott will lead to deferred purchases. So, they don’t buy on Friday, and they make up for it by buying on Saturday or Sunday. Big whoop.
Rescheduled for the 29th.
bought lots of stuff. good day to stock up. saw lots of people out buying. guess their boycott failed miserably.
“””Boycott of What?””

I bought lots of stuff that day.

I would agree except for one thing-when conservatives decide to boycott a product, it is usually long term, and not for a single day or week.
For most conservatives I know, once they make a decision to forgo a product, manufacturer, or provider of a service, they rarely go back.
But yes-a boycott for a day is asinine.
