We really like squirrels! Me too. Not the next-door neighbor when I had my old house, though. Civil enough guy, but very religious and kind of a wet blanket. He saw two squirrels happily fornicating in the wheel well of his parked pickup truck one Saturday morning. Never forgave them. Probably thought they did it just to piss him off. Heh. :-)

That’s another funny story. We called our rescued squirrel “Peepers”. He was a gray squirrel. Here in Indiana, we have red squirrels. I call them country squirrels, because they’re so beefy and muscular compared to the scrawny gray squirrels I was familiar with growing up. Here’s one I captured from a few years ago.
