I use a battery powered reciprocating saw for lighter stuff. It came with 2 batteries, so it will run for a while. Over 2” I switch to my Dad’s old Stihl electric chain saw.

Broiled Salmon / Brown Sugar Glaze / 4 Servings
Terrific dinner, really quick, all in one pan. Broiling gives best caramelization

Ing 4-8 oz salmon fillets, asparagus, broccolini, cherry tomatoes, 1 tbl ol/oil S/p.
Glaze 1 tbl ea Dijon, mayo, 2 tbl br/sugar 1/4 tsp cayenne

Steps Place oven shelf 6" from heat source. Arrange on sprayed tray asparagus, broccolini, cherry tomatoes. Drizzle w/ olive oil, s/p. Wedge salmon between veg. S/p. Slather Glaze on salmon tops and sides. Broil 8 min to caramelize, inside is blush pink--don't flip. Rest 2 min then serve.

Note: use pencil-thin asparagus/broccolini to ensure they cook. Cut if needed. You'll have extra Glaze w/ small salmon; roll cherry tomatoes in it before cooking. A good side is rice tossed w/ garlic butter.
