A federal judge on Thursday ruled against CIA employees who sued the Trump Administration to keep their jobs.
Earlier this month, Judge Trenga, an appointee of George W. Bush, temporarily blocked President Trump’s move to clean house in the intelligence community—specifically targeting agents involved in Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) initiatives that have compromised national security in favor of leftist ideology.

The lawsuit, filed in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Virginia, names ODNI, the CIA, and leadership — Director of National Intelligence Tulsi Gabbard and CIA Director John Ratcliffe—as defendants.
The plaintiffs, identified as “John Does 1-6” and “Jane Does 1-5,” claim they were unfairly targeted simply for their prior assignments to DEIA programs.
A federal judge ruled Thursday that the Trump administration can go ahead with plans to fire dozens of officers from the CIA and other intelligence agencies who had temporary jobs working on diversity programs.
The ruling could open the way to wider firings at the CIA and across the intelligence community as the Trump administration presses ahead with plans to slash the federal workforce and the size of the federal government. At least 51 CIA and Office of the Director of National Intelligence officers now face imminent dismissal, according to Kevin Carroll, the lawyer representing some of the officers.
The CIA is planning to conduct its largest mass firing since 1977, according to The New York Times reported last week.
According to The Times, the CIA is firing officers working on “recruiting and diversity.”
And more firings are to come.
But he can’t delegate to OPM to do the firings he ordered because a different Judge....
“The CIA is planning to conduct its largest mass firing since 1977”
So what happened in 1977?
Good question. It might be productive to find someone still alive who was fired then and ask. Carter's presidency started in 1977.
Jeez. If the president cannot fire employees at worthless jobs, then who can? This should not even be a question.
Fallout from the Church Committee which investigated the CIA, FBI, and IRS in 1975?
I believe the Church commission. Senator Church chaired an investigation into the CIA and discovered some nasty stuff. Carter cleaned house.
The Church Committee exposed many CIA abuses in 1975.

That include Operation Mockingbird (mass media infiltration and control), mind control experiments etc.
It took a while but eventually that led to mass firings in the CIA.
Yes, thanks all. I did find this as well:

This article mentions that this mass layoff “was hardly unique in terms of CIA’s history”.
I guess the CIA never changes...
These lefty judges - mostly Obama/Biden appointees, but some from the Bush eras - are being slapped down right and left.
It’s a beautiful thing to see.
