They will be able to say that we have no allies in the world. They will be able to say we have no trade partners so our economy has shrunk, they will be able to say that we have no affinity either culturally, philosophically or militarily with Europe. They will say the whole world is against us, we are alone and, besides, our system is not worth defending.

Respectfully, isolationist nationalism is the way of the future. All countries are weary of the history of entanglements. We are best off with leaving NATO, and disengaging from Europe, with whom we increasingly have little in common. After all, Europe is just as totalitarian as China, but as an added paradox, is actually hostile to Western Civilization values, unlike China.

China is a traditional great power.

The MIC sees China as a threat. I do not see it that way. But we should respect them as a great power. Part of the game. Like France, the British Empire, etc during 19th Century.

We should have friendly relations with all nations and we should trade with them. Kind of like India. India is neutral.

We should follow their lead.
