You’re not exactly wrong, but having lived in New York, I know that most states are red counties, run by a small percentage of blue cities.
States need an Electoral College system to defeat the morons in the concentrated urban areas.
In the case of Maine, for instance, I would say less than 1/4 of the map voted for the B and C word in the governor’s office.
