There’s some sections of the town that are best avoided, but I found enough safer areas to maintain 10,000+ steps. Having an expense account was good, but there weren’t many restaurants there. My favorite was Kenoy’s, “Home of the two-fisted burger.”
The town is partially boarded up, but is still a haven for blues lovers from around the world.
I enjoyed working with the black people at HBCU Coahoma Community College. But racist, respectful, Christian, and fun to work with.
I love traveling through the Delta Country.
I once took the last train to Clarksdale.
