FR is so interesting! I had a consulting assignment in little Clarksdale a few years back. For seven months I stayed at The Clark House, the 100-year old mansion of the town’s founder John Clark.

There’s some sections of the town that are best avoided, but I found enough safer areas to maintain 10,000+ steps. Having an expense account was good, but there weren’t many restaurants there. My favorite was Kenoy’s, “Home of the two-fisted burger.”

The town is partially boarded up, but is still a haven for blues lovers from around the world.

I enjoyed working with the black people at HBCU Coahoma Community College. But racist, respectful, Christian, and fun to work with.
