@RandPaul
A few people may have noticed that I resisted an enthusiastic endorsement of Donald Trump during the election.
But now, I’m amazed by the Trump cabinet (many of whom I would have picked).
I love his message to the Ukrainian warmongers, and along with his DOGE initiative shows I was wrong to withhold my endorsement.
So today, admittedly a little tardy, I give Donald Trump my enthusiastic endorsement!
(Too little too late some will say, but, you know, it is sincere, there is that.)
Don’t expect this endorsement to be fawning.
I still think tariffs are a terrible idea, but Dios Mio, what courage, what tenacity.
Go @realDonaldTrump Go!

Rand is great...
Also, anyone find it interesting I can post “Senate GOP dismayed by Trump” in News just 5 mins ago yet here we have one of them emphatically posting “GO TRUMP”?
Clearly there is now a divide in the Senate GOP and maybe The sHill as some like to call them should balance their articles slightly ?
Rand:
Free trade never will exist without enforcement. A tariff equal to that of the opposite country takes care of that. Remember “trust but verify”?
Rand has always been postured correctly and Trump respects him. He’s no RINO weasel but he’s no yes-man either.
And I want to acknowledge that it was Sarah Palin’s endorsement of Rand back in 2010s that put him over the edge in Kentucky against the other primary rivals.
And so grateful that the multiple physical assaults and close calls on his life have not taken him down.
Yes that was a big endorsement for him
It gave him instant credibility
It sounds sincere especially coming from a guy who mows his own lawn or at least used to. Perhaps there is one decent human in the Senate
Rand Paul is the quintessential Loyal Opposition, and I applaud him for it. Thank you, Senator, for your intellectual honesty and you loyalty to this country.
I’ve sometimes disagreed with Rand Paul, but I’ve never found any reason not to respect him. He and his father are a rarity in politics - men with real principles.
Rand Paul and Josh Hawley are excellent Senators.
Rand is a good man.
My problem with Rand is he often gets lost scoring debate points and loses sight of the big picture.
With Rand, the perfect often becomes the enemy of the good.
Paul is probably the only American in the US Senate.
Odd, that he cannot see the value and need for tariffs.
I agree with Paul. I hate tariffs.
But it's a necessary evil to protect certain industries.
And we may need to use it as a tool to negotiate.
I guess you can’t see the value and need either.
Not all countries are fair or treat their people equally.
I, personally, believe that the United States should only be trading with countries which have constitutionally limited governments and are shown to apply those limitations. Then, we would not need tariffs.
Very kind and humble statement. Rand is such a decent person.
The United States once had the natural resources, educated population, transportation system and industrial infrastructure to be economically self sufficient without trading with any foreign nation. That strength allowed us to supply the weapons and manpower to win WWII.
President Trump understands the US must return to economic self sufficiency in order for its people to secure the blessing of liberty.
Just like Ted Cruz,I think Rand Paul sees a comfortable lane for himself going forward flanked by RFK and PDJT,
My respect for Rand Paul continues to grow over time.
And I always considered him one of the better senators we have.
Wait? He gave Trump credit instead of musk???
Impossible! Not right!
It still amazes me that Donald Trump was able to return the United States to energy surplus within a single Presidential term!
The chains which bind us are very thin!
