The last 2 times I stopped at the KFC a mile east of here the food was so bad I tossed it in the garbage. They have since gone out of business. There is another one a mile west. They should be concerned with quality not headquarters.

Agreed. We avoid KFC like the plague. I recall the early 80’s or so that place was always packed with customers. The chicken, the gravy, the coleslaw was all very good. Then there was a recipe change maybe in the early 90’s and ever since it sucked and ever since they’ve lost customers.

The same happened to Banquet frozen chicken in grocery stores. They could not keep it in stock. In this case they were bought out and again the product was changed to the point to where it just sucked.

I don’t care if KFC moves or goes out of business or not.

Coke did the same thing a few decades back where they completely changed their product. The difference is they learned and went back to the original product.

Yep - KFC went downhill for years and I stopped using them....but we have a local one that’s pretty good again....many went all “affirmative action” on their hires and a lot of the workers were lazy and incompetent - interesting note - here in S. MS, many fast food places are Black run and staffed - and doing a geat job.
