Pete deservedly got a lifetime ban from baseball for gambling. But now that his lifetime is over, put him in the HOF. Put a statement on his plaque that he was banned, but he deserves to be in, IMO.

Same for Shoeless Joe Jackson.

Having been to the HOF, while Pete Rose doesn’t have a plaque enshrining him there, there are some exhibits with boards showing the career leaders in a number of baseball stats. At the time I visited Rose was of course at the top of hits so he is in the HOF in a manner of speaking.
