“Putin's aims are extraordinarily ambitious, way beyond the capacity of his country, which he is ruining,” he added.

Sikorski called the full-scale invasion a “civilizational struggle.”

“We [Europe] represent the world of rules, of peace, of prosperity. And Putin has gone back to the world of Genghis Khan.”

“Polish foreign minister ‘relieved’ US not cutting European defense spending”

Well it does cost money to remove troops, assuming he’s referring to US DOD spending, although this headline implies that we have control over European defense spending...which we kind of do, but we’re trying to push it up, instead of down.

And as posted to your other "Radoslaw Sikorski" post ----

Radoslaw Sikorski is quite an interesting Pole. One may also refer to him as Mister Anne Applebaum.

Minister of Foreign Affairs under Donald Tusk, he has a wiki. In it, one reads in part: "In another part of the leaked conversation, Sikorski was reported to have said: 'The Polish-American alliance is worthless. It is even harmful because it creates a false sense of security for Poland'."

Why mention Sikorski's wife since 1992? Here's her take on President Trump"

Why Does Trump Sound Like Hitler, Stalin, and Mussolini? Article for Atlantic, 18 October 2024.
Combining this fine married couple's views, President Trump sounds like Hitler, Stalin and Mussolini," AND "The Polish-American alliance is worthless."

Yeah team! < s a r c >

There’s a Term for What Trump and Musk Are Doing How regime change happens in America - By Anne Applebaum

Here is a quote "DOGE and its boss, Elon Musk, have instead focused their activity on the eradication of the federal civil service, along with its culture and values, and its replacement with something different. In other words: regime change."

Sounds like the Atlantic and Ms Applebaum have been getting a lot of USAID money. This spew is projection. A question arises which is the mechanisms by which the Pulitzer Prize have been subverted by the deepstate and turned into their own tool for enslavement of the masses.

And another question is the thread between Marcus and these corruptocrats.

Give it to Poland DIRECTLY. Bypass the SWAMP in Brussels. Pick the countries we want to strengthen a country removed from Russian border. NOTHING for WESTERN Europe.

Asked by TVP World if EU and NATO members are taking Russian threats seriously enough, he said the “seriousness grows” the closer countries are to Russia. “So yes, we in neighbors of Russia, we are sufficiently scared of his cruelty, of his hypocrisy, of his brutality.

Putin’s media and political surrogates have made threats against Poland on the basis that it is within the Russian sphere of influence. It should not be forgotten that Poland shares borders in the east with a well-armed Russian enclave known as Memel or the Kaliningrad Oblast, and with Russia’s ally Belarus. As it is, when the Russians are in an aggressive mood, their air defense systems in Kaliningrad easily surveil and threaten most of Poland’s airspace.

Poland historically found itself between Germany and Russia and got run over a lot.

This gives the Polish people a bitter attitude towards Russia.

The US will have to hold the Polish government’s hands and tell them its OK.

Right now the Left runs Poland not the Conservative-Religious side of Polish politics.

Let things play out. The euros should settle their own problems...their socialism being one. Then there’s their tendency to be no freedom of speech and so forth. Foreign entanglements are just that.

--- " 'Putin's aims are extraordinarily ambitious, way beyond the capacity of his country' Wait, you Zeepers have been telling us Russia has been defeated by little old Ukraine?

It is quite fascinating that having an argument "both ways" is a game many play now, on a geopolitical scale. And yet, just like kids once upon a time.

Russia's population is said to be about 145 million. Ukraine currently an official "worldometer-sourced" 38 million. The EU portion of Europe generally, 450 million. The notion that Russia has the manpower to occupy -- without help from collaborators in European nations, as happened with the Vichy as an example -- Europe is laughable. That some assert that Russia has been unable to win over Ukraine in three years does not comport with the assertion that Russia -- failing and weakened as Sikorski and others say -- will conquer Europe. The facts belie this. But the cognitive dissonance goes on, and mostly ends up with the same theme -- more money.

There is NO cognitive dissonance that "more money" is the continuing theme. And that "more money" should come from somebody else, as one watches European elites squirm.

President Trump and Vice-President Vance have been rather clear that "more money" will be "clawed back" from many corrupt schemes, as we watch revelations coming from USAID alone.

One thing remains in the media record, as we review:

Joe Biden's last stop in Europe: President says Russia has already lost war in Ukraine USAToday, 13 July 2023.
That's what was said. Back then. Perhaps one should review the many YouTube channels' videos posted to FR these last years, which have stated similar views. Russia's lost.
