Its dangerous. There are good reasons why the league has sought to ban it. My own alma mater UF hasn’t seen fans storm the field in over 40 years. The field being ringed by cops complete with police dogs and the universal knowledge that you’ll face stiff penalties if you try it might have a little something to do with that.
If other schools actually wanted to stop fans from storming the field, they could.

Yes Delbert, it certainly sounds very dangerous. Also, I think after the game, the fans should be dismissed in an orderly fashion, by sections and rows...no talking. LOL

I did it many times in college.
Heck, we beat Texas one year in football in Little Rock and we stormed the field in Fayetteville, took down one goalpost and paraded it up and down Dickson Street (big college hanout).
Cops helped us.
