I went to college in N.H., so I have seen and know all about
how maple syrup is made, from start to finish and see NO valid reason to by Canadian maple syrup, or anything else from there.

But WHAT do they even send to us, I don't think that I have EVER bought ANYTHING at all made in Canada.Brunswick Boneless Butterflied Sardine Fillets are "distributed" by Bumble Bee Seafoods, San Diego, CA, but are a "product of" Canada. Currently $1.87 a can, will probably go to four dollars or so if she gets her way. As usual, the end user/consumer will always be the one who pays the piper. There's a lot more of these products out there.

Maybe Canadians want to move their dairy businesses to Wisconsin and Vermont and sell to Americans. Big big markets here.

The largest import from Canada is petroleum and it’s refined products like gasoline, diesel, heating oil, etc. About $132 billion.
The next is automobiles.
Things like Ford pickups and various auto parts is $59 billion.
Then there are a lot of minerals, gems, steel, aluminum, lumber, OSB, paper, airplanes, various commodities.
Canada is one of our largest trading partners.

That was my thought and a large part of that is probably Canadian maple syrup that we have never needed.

This includes 100% tariffs on all Teslas, a direct attack on Elon Musk,
EVs are a poor choice in a very poor climate with vast, remote spaces like Canada.

Since she wants to bring Wisconsin into this fight... US should shut down the Canadian Enbridge Line 5 pipeline.
Connects western Canada to eastern.
That is 540,000 barrels of US leverage.

There are other brands of sardines, to buy, that come from other places.
I buy such KING OSCAR skinless, boneless, in virgin olive oil; the sardines come from Morocco.
