The Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) only runs a program to house migrants that is funded by U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP), contrary to posts online saying that FEMA disaster relief funds were diverted by the Biden Administration to house migrants in the U.S. illegally. FEMA and its Disaster Relief Fund have been targets of disinformation in the wake of Hurricane Helene, which devastated parts of the U.S. Southeast in late September.

FEMA’s entire raison d’etre is providing disaster relief for Americans. Everything else is a distant second. If that means there is no money left over for illegal aliens who shouldn’t be in the country to begin with then so much the better. They shouldn’t be getting so much as a plug nickel.

The functional use of “continuing resolutions” for “budgeting” the federal government is a fiduciary disaster and a direct violation of the US Constitutional - you know, the document every member of Congress supposedly swears an oath to protect and defend...
You are correct, until the use of continuing resolutions is fully banned - we won’t ever get out of this financial mess.
