Leon Bloom and the entire cast of The Producer as WTF!

I didn't see the remake of "The Producers", but Mel Brooks co-wrote the screenplay and also co-produced, so I wouldn't put it in the same category. It was remade as a musical, so it is more like what "High Society" was to "The Philadelphia Story", which certainly could not be improved upon (Cary Grant, Katherine Hepburn, Jimmy Stewart), but is a fun movie in its own right (Grace Kelly was NOT a convincing frost queen, however).

I saw a few scenes from the new Producer and it was barf-alicious, and I couldn’t bear to watch more. If Mel Brooks took part in that, his best years are behind him, and he ought not have touched his own legacy and that of Gene Wilder, Zero Mostel, et al.
