Please, people, let’s be careful with our words, because they actually mean something.

“Treason“ is mentioned in the Constitution, and is the rendering of aid and/or comfort to the enemy - when there is a declared state of war. We are not officially at war with any country right now, let alone ourselves - so nothing about this is treasonous.

“Sedition” is the act of a person forcefully trying to overthrow, take down, hinder, or delay the government or its laws by doing so through words or speech. Assuming that one could prove that people in the FBI gave warning of ICE raids on illegals, they would be guilty of sedition. Now, sedition is a very serious offense, but it isn’t subject to the death penalty, and it ISN’T treason.

We need to be as factual as possible when discussing what Dems and other Leftists have done and are doing - because if we aren’t, we both give them a propaganda point and risk not being taken seriously.

That all said, if what is discussed in this thread is true, the people involved should be a) fired and stripped of any security clearances that they may have; b) charged with sedition and ALL other crimes that they may have committed (including stuff like stealing paper lips and staplers from the taxpayers; and c) stripped of their pensions once convicted under b). I have no tolerance for these Leftist scumbags - but let’s use the correct terminology so that we actually accomplish something positive for this country.
