Elon Musk is actively causing a constitutional crisis by subverting Congress and the funds it specifically appropriated.

Yeah of the trillions in spending very few dollars are earmarked by congress for specific recipients. If congress gives NIH a billion dollars for research on cancer that may be as specific as it gets. NIH i.e. the executive branch and by that I mean some 57 year old career bureaucrat who couldn’t make it in the private sector then decides who will get the money and as long as it is cancer related and the work is done by a company/researcher/university/pharmaceutical company qualified to do the work no problem. But there is where it can get dicey when a lot of money is doled out to a lot of people by bureaucrats who may be stupid/lazy/incompetent/crazy/crooked/or plain goofy.
Or it gets doled out to people who spend 90% of the money on administration and 10% on shoddy research. Now we have political hack DEI judges trying to micromanage the process which is a lot scarier than a 19 year old with big balls and a 150 IQ using read only access to look for fraud. And BTW you can buy all the SSN numbers your heart desires. I used to have Bill Gates and Hillary Clinton’s SSNs. They came off of SEC forms that corporate insiders are required to file and any shlub could have walked into the SEC grabbed those filings off the shelf and paid 35 cents (back then) to have them copied. The filings are electronic now but the data is still available. Only difference is filers are no longer required to provide SSN. Still there are a multitude of other legal sources for SSNs and other socalled personal information. If Elon Musk wanted your SSN he has a lot of easier ways to get it than stealing it from the Treasury database.

Bingo. When you can use code to search expenditures and flag certain keywords or transactions with missing documentation it isn’t hard to figure out whee to look. I.e a transaction for $327.65 for Staples and a valid Invoice for office supplies, not much to see their. However, that transaction for $59,885.27 with some vague “program support” in the memo line, etc. certainly raises eyebrows.

Omnibus appropriations are not specific. They are blank checks plus 20% every year, for anything the bureaucracy wants. Congress hasn’t appropriated anything specific in 14 years now. The argument Turlov makes is procedurally correct, only if the procedures are carried out. They have not been. Congress has not produced any substantive work product for those 14 years other than “ We need to pass this to see what’s in it”, (Pelosi), and that’s not specific appropriations.

If Congress actually approved ALL of those individual expenditures, I want to see the actual bills and budgets, and I want to see, precisely, who voted for and against each and every one.

They can’t (or at least shouldn’t be able to) just give the bureaucrats a debit card and let them spend all the money in the account for whatever the heck they want.

BURN IT DOWN!

If it is criminally going to fraudsters and illegal activities = SHUT IT DOWN.

Attacking Musk for pointing it out makes Dems clearly part of the problem.

Trump’s approval is at an all-time high.

We will sweep midterms after Musk saves a TRILLION or more dollars.

I am trying not to ‘go nuts’. Bringing to light or exposing the fraud, waste, and corruption is ‘subverting’? I am sure the dead people receiving funds from the government are not squealing. I also am glad that those who are appropriating the funds (or their friends) are not doing this audit. Musk is doing his job thoroughly and the fraudsters are afraid.

Musk heads a company that launches government satellites. I’m sure he DOES have a clearance.

Not every government employee working at these government institutions has a security clearance and in fact the majority don’t. You get a security clearance based on a need to know anything about classified material.

SSN, address, phone numbers, account numbers are not classified material. It’s called PII..Personally Identifiable Information and your only requirement is not to release it. You don’t need a security clearance to look at it.

“subverting Congress and the funds it specifically appropriated.”

No, that’s what Biden was doing with Ukraine funding.

If there are two things we learned in the 2020 elections is , the Constitution is allowed to be overlooked and courts seem to have no standing on a great many issues. Precedents are annoying….

An IMMENSE amount of their party/world domination funding is going bye-bye. From their point of view they are in SERIOUS trouble.

March 14th is another budget deadline. Wouldn’t it be prudent for the house to add the work Elon is doing into the budget so he can legally do his job?
