Mormonism belief that a person convicted to die should have their blood spilled, not be hanged or electrocuted. The spilling of blood somehow atones for their crime and they go to the mormon version of heaven.

Then the highly reliable guillotine should be utilized. Not sure they were ever used in the USA, but are certainly effective, and quick. Not cruel or “unusual” at all.
