The primary settlers in SA were the Dutch first and then the English replaced them after 150 years. It was not a friendly arrangement; culminating in the Boer War of 1898, in which the British established concentration camps and other ‘anti-insurgency measures’ to suppress the Dutch. We don’t think much of the ‘old country’ here, but it still matters in South Africa.
England might take in some of their own to help the Zulus and Bantus with the ethnic cleansing.
