I agree with Rand. Of course, with Trump it’s always Art of the Deal. When Trump says we’ll do this or that, it’s to get the other guys to negotiate him down to whatever he really wants.

I have learned to not fly off the handle at every little thing President Trump says. The Senator should follow suit

It best to wait and see how thing develop before commenting because usually what Trump says is merely a bargaining chip to force other parties to the negation table.

The Senator will have lots of time both in his official role and, in the media, to oppose any plan that might later develop that he opposes.
