You don’t need to be a weather man to know which way the wind blows.

We’re going to find out really fast that the really big colleges like the Ivy League schools and multiple others were getting money from what amounts to a slush fund through USAID and other sources. The very idea of a campus shutdown due to such widespread monetary abuse is no longer far-fetched.

I truly hope that comes to pass.

However, I see conflation of the terms “executive order” and “law”. And as we’re were witnessing, we’ve been whipsawed by executive orders every time an administration changes.

Being a small L libertarian private citizen, my first reaction to an executive order is that I don’t work for an executive branch, so go pound sand.

There need to be a process by which these changes become irreversible for the long term without significant legislative discussion.

The leftists created the monster of an “Imperial Presidency”.

It is perfect karma for that institution to crush them and roll back their long march through the institutions.

I worked at a univ. and the faculty are some of the most insufferably biased creeps you will ever meet. Smug as well, to anyone who is staff and not faculty. 😒

Also, many are dumb as dirt and cannot even write properly. One I recall especially had mail returned to our office 3 times because it was not correctly addressed...could not EVEN address an envelope!!

Correct me if I’m wrong but isn’t the inability to properly address an envelope one of the markers for illiteracy?

Much of what Trump is trying to do involves cultural changes. He realizes that and plays the role of populist with panache.

We are starting to see proof of taxpayer theft on an unimaginable scale.

Musk may have understated his estimate of $2 trillion in fraud/waste/abuse annually in the federal budget.

“You don’t need to be a weather man to know which way the wind blows.”

Very appropriate. I remember the Weatherman from the sixties.

I’m all for the current brand of karma, but it needs to be made permanent. And given what we’re just beginning to see, that permanence should involve significant use of blindfolds, cigarettes and the option for any last words.

Nothing is permanent in this life.

You can only do the best you can.

“You don’t need to be a weather man to know which way the wind blows.”

That was a line from the Bob Dylan song Subterranean Homesick Blues.

the more rank and file taxpayers get to see of the absolute corruption sponsored by trillions of dollars the more “irreversible” the coming changes will be. remember what obama said, “we won and you lost. elections have consequences”. after four years of the liberal activists training the American people to “LOOK AT TRUMP! LISTEN TO HIS WORDS!”, Americans are doing exactly That. By calling attention to Trump 24/7 the liberals on BOTH SIDES of the political aisle have not only stretched out the proverbial rope and tied the knot that fits their own necks but they’ve also provided their own gallows with the most perfect trap door ever invented...their own rhetoric!

Yes, that is the source that the radical group the Weathermen used for their name.

“operate any programs promoting DEI that violate any applicable Federal anti-discrimination laws.”

Perhaps it should be:

We do not discriminate in resume, interview, application or hiring or enrollment decisions against any racial or ethnic group, include whites, blacks, Asians, Africans, Chinese, Koreans, Japanese, Asian Indians or Native Americans.

Yes. And Bill Ayers even admitted this in his book "Prairie Fire".
