aint it the truth
The government should have limits of decorum when giving advice to the public, already in our feminized Western countries the majority of “news” is no longer about foreign affairs and national defense and infrastructure and government, but instead about what we eat and drink, and too much of this or that or the wrong condiment and how global warming and things that are going to kill us all, or make us get wrinkles, or how many hours to sleep, who is the latest girl singer.
Quebec? EN FRANCAIS!
Maybe someone with some tech savvy can explain why Youtube, on Mozilla Firefox, which I am signed into, refuses to play ANY videos anymore. Doesn’t even give me a suggestion. But if I go to another browser, and do not sign in, I can watch the videos.
I saw a picture of a billboard in Western Canada back in the 70’s. The sign stated:
“If you love your kids, belt them”. Referring to seat belts.
“I am a fan of these type of safety campaigns. I personally cannot get enough of them.”
No fan of Canada, but damn EFFECTIVE.
Like it...should do other creative PSA’s for drug overdoses...deadly STD’s
It truly bothers me when people cross the street where there is no crosswalk. If the road is empty, that’s one thing...no big deal...but I see it ALL THE TIME on busy roads.
Nice.
Can’t remember all details of the commercial but in the early 80s the Montreal TV station would run a commercial warning about customs and smuggling. The whole time it had a signpost on the screen with two arrow signs, one pointing to “Canada” and the other pointing in the opposite direction to “Anywherelseland.” Got me thinking “wow. How many countries share a land border with Canada?”
A smashing success
