Based on Frederick Forsyth's best-selling novel of political intrigue, The Day of the Jackal, tells of a cold, suave British assassin hired by the French OAS to kill General Charles de Gaulle. I would not say that the female antagonist was a hero. They added too much stuff that had nothing to do with the series whatsoever. I could’ve carried less about her home life and all of that ,I will say that most of the reviews I saw cited her as probably the one week point in the series.
But I do have to say that Eddie Redmayne was perfect casting he was just sensational. They have left open the door for season two.
The gall was not in either the Bruce Willis remake or the brand new read Bank that was on Peacock two different targets
It turned out later that Carlos the Jackal was an absolute moronic idiot who is no mastermind or assassin whatsoever, and I’m talking about the one in real life
I just finished watching “The Day of the Jackal.” Great movie. Thanks again for putting up the link on YouTube. I pay for YouTube Premium, so no ads for me which is great.
