BlackHawk pilots need to fly a minimum of 9 hours a month to maintain their flight rating so she was likely still logging those hours.

One of the big issues is Blackhawk availability. Blackhawks are maintenance intensive as are all helicopters. Average 3 hours of maintenance per hour of flight time.

A significant portion of its operational time is dedicated to upkeep, with preventative checks occurring every 40 flight hours and larger "phase maintenance" inspections happening every 360 flight hours.

Fort Rucker has high standards and in my view, they do not graduate unqualified pilots.

She wasn’t logging hours for the past two years in the White House press office.
She was working in the White House as recently as Jan 4th. Likely left right as Trump was sworn in, so she was getting spun up again and getting current and trained.

I’m sure she left Rucker reasonably qualified by today’s standards. But her long absence from the cockpit perished her skills into substandard. They were training her back up. Her lesbo, woke, well-connected and female status didn’t count for anything at night over the Potomac when she killed an airliner full of people.
