I’m glad to hear you’re mending some. The fresh air, when you can get to it, will do you good.
Call us crazy. At least I will call us that. Today we both put on snow pants over our jeans to give us extra warmth for our daily walk. I wore thick wool socks, and good winter boots. Still my toes froze on our walk today. Maybe got 35 minutes in. Not 45-55 minutes as we usually do in better temps.
It’s a good time for hubby to decompress after his work day is over. Sometimes we talk about his work while we walk. Sometimes we don’t. Often our kids and whatever they’re going through is the topic. Sometimes it’s the news of the day. It’s always good to have a conversation with him. He’s my rock, and I’m his. We are so blessed.
Passing positive thoughts on to you and your Mama. Feel better soon, FRiend!
Very cold here & when the wind blows, it’s really brrrr! Snow day tomorrow & Thursday ... I will be making soup & staying warm. The snow shouldn’t be worse than 2-3” for our area so that’s totally manageable.
Pastor called today to check on us since mom missed 2 Sundays in a row & I was out the 2nd Sunday mom missed. As soon as she heard my voice, she knew why I had missed - not laryngitis, but hoarse. Hopefully, we’ll be back next Sunday, as long as I’m not coughing.
