Is Zelensky the Legitimate Head of Ukraine?
Armstrong Economics ^ | 31 Jan 25 | Martin Armstrong

Posted on 01/31/2025 8:22:40 AM PST by delta7

There is no question that Zelensky has become a ruthless dictator at the behest of the West. If Trump really wants to end this war, cut off EVERYTHING to Ukraine until Zelensky allows an election and then send in monitors to ensure the Ukrainian people get a real election.

Sources in Ukraine have often questioned if he was actually elected. But that is revisiting history and who knows the truth? What is clear is that he ran promising peace and has done absolutely everything opposite of what he ran for election promising.

Vladimir Putin has raised this question about Volodymyr Zelensky’s legitimacy as President of Ukraine to even negotiate on behalf of the Ukrainian people. Zelensky’s term in office actually expired in May 2024, which coincided with the attempted assassination of Zelensky by Ukrainian military officers.

On our May 7th ECM target date, two Ukrainian colonels were arrested involving an internal attempt to assassinate Zelensky when he should have allowed free elections but used martial law to end the freedom to vote. This was no different from the military officers who tried to save Germany and also got caught trying to assassinate Hitler.

President Zelensky frequently replaced key figures in Ukraine’s security forces whenever they questioned his strategy. He is a comedian and has ZERO military training. They even allege that he dodged the draft himself, refusing to show up when summoned.

There is a serious question if he can negotiate on behalf of the Ukrainian people. Sources make it clear if the war is over, he will eventually flee to Miami, which was the promise under Biden’s Neocons.

Staying in Ukraine will most likely not be an option for him because, with over a million Ukrainians dead since he killed the peace deal on orders from Boris Johnson, he will not survive long out of office. He has destroyed his country, and his fame will turn into being notorious, no different than Hitler. Any peace deal will most likely find him fleeing the country.

This is a pretty bad article considering that the legitimacy of his rule would be based on 2 things, and the article doesn’t delve into either. One would be how he came to power, and the other would be whether he should still be in power. A quick google search confirms his term has expired, and my recollection is that critics state that there is no legitimate constitutional basis for him holding onto power.

On our May 7th ECM target date ...
As you may note, this is hindsight matching of an arbitrary event against that has been selected, because it matches (which is meaningless).

Armstrong typically misrepresents such matches as as a successful forecasts. Here is some context:

Just a few quick follow-up thoughts. The claim of Z's defenders is that he has authority to declare martial law, which he has done, and that this includes suspending elections as he has done, and therefore it's OK for him to remain in power. As near as I can tell the critics argue that while martial law is a defined constitutional power, it doesn't explicitly say Z can stay in power past his term, making the defenders's claims an argument from silence. In other words, this is an undefined gray area.

Seems to me this is an ugly place for a representative republic to find itself in, and constitutions should be written to avoid this situation. A ruler should not have a loophole available by which they can just declare a crisis, suspend elections and then forever after claim to still be in crisis to defer elections permanently. There should be defined limits or checks by which his attempt to maintain control can be over-ridden by, say, a supermajority in parliament/congress or supreme court or whatever.

Coincidence. An example of how Armstrong lies.

The May 7 was the beginning of a recession according to delta7.

We could of course project what eventually happens to Ukraine.

Georgescu Believes Ukraine will Divide – Is He Correct?

Romania’s Calin Georgescu has made headlines once more for calling Ukraine a “fictitious state” and suggesting that the nation will inevitably be divided. This man would have been president of Romania if the establishment accepted the results of the first election. Although he remains the most popular candidate, these statements and views are precisely why those behind the curtain will never permit him to hold power.….

No, he is not !
He might be the head of his queer dance brigade, but that’s about it.

He declared martial law on February 24, 2022, knowing THE Ukraine’s constitution mandates that elections cannot go ahead until any declaration of martial law is lifted.
Holding Ukraine hostage and refusing to relinquish power. Zelensky has been upgraded to dictator.

This gap turned out to be even larger than the Kremlin itself anticipated. It had aimed for a mere “historic result”: 80-82 per cent of the vote for Putin with a 70-75 per cent turnout. In the absence of any intrigue, however, it is not easy to achieve such figures – voters simply have no reason to show up at polling stations. Realising this, the presidential administration expanded its menu of manipulations as much as possible. Since the widespread protests in 2011-2012 demanding clean elections, the authorities have tried to avoid outright fraud in major cities. Instead, they have sought to combine electoral fraud in rural territories with the mobilisation in cities of those who work for corporations or organisations dependent on the state.

This time, administrative mobilisation outdid itself. The colossal overstretching of the bureaucratic system gifted Putin a result even better than “planned”, bringing his performance closer to that of east Asian or African dictatorships.

“The irony that a shill for Putin would call someone an illegitimate dictator.”

Not only a Putin shill, but also a convicted scammer having spent eleven years in prison for securities fraud having lost $700,000,000 of his clients’ funds in losing trades.

He is here hoping to make money from suckers.
