I sure hope I get a chance in my lifetime to catch a ride on this.
That is over quickly...
I’ve flown on the Concorde twice. It was a fantastic experience and beautiful service. I’m small, so maybe that makes the difference.
AOC says we will be taking trains to Europe so I don’t see a need for a new passenger plane.
If you are into aerospace, the Mojave Air & Space Port is a fun place to visit. They’ve got a few exhibits. You can walk into the terminal and sit down in the break and ready rooms. My son and I some years ago met the pilot and copilot of an EA-18G Growler parked on the tarmac just outside. They gave us a really cool tour of their aircraft and invited us to sit in the cockpit.
Loud until it went supersonic. Had a friend who managed global business for a US manufacturer with a factory in Scotland. Flew regularly to and from the UK on Concorde and said it paid off terms of comfort and his performance after arrival. Of course, that was back in the days when even coach class wasn’t torture. Now the nickname “cattle class” is an understatement.

I have toured the Concorde at the museum in Seattle. It is indeed cramped, tiny seats, and a window about the size of your palm. If I am paying that much I would fly first class and enjoy the free drinks for longer....
