After days of donning designer labels, First Lady Melania Trump stepped out in a rather casual outfit. For her first casual appearance on Friday, after President Trump's inauguration, Melania Trump wore black jeans and top layered with an olive puffer coat.
The former model was photographed leaving the White House with Trump, in a casual outfit. She wore black Levi’s jeans paired with a turtle neck top, layered with a Rag & Bone puffer coat in an olive green hue. She added a pair of Xappeal black lace-up boots to go with it. The First Lady completed her look with a black beanie and a beautiful pair of Victoria Beckham sunglasses. The couple were headed to Marine One for their first joint trip to North Carolina and California of the administration.

Its hard to tell if that’s Melania, or Trump’s PR aide, Margo Martin.
For the coverage they get, there’s probably no better training for a first lady than modeling.
Melania could make a “sweatsuit” look “HOT”...
I can kind of see that, but Martin pales in comparison. Not nearly as classy as Melania.

I don’t know the exact protocol for these situations, but I assume a PR aide, even a trusted one, would not be allowed to ascend AF1 steps together with Trump.
Melania, of course, would be.

When she went to California late that day, she wore a long-brimmed baseball cap, hiding her face.
Looks like she switch to a much lighter coat when she got to California later in the day - but it is much warmer here.
I find it interesting that she never wears a MAGA hat, especially since they come in black now.

She is total class, a a beautiful First Lady. It’s so refreshing to have her in the WH again.
One of the RAV reporters this week said only POTUS and FLOTUS can use that stairway. (Although I have seen family members use it, like those young Obama creatures.)
I just did a little search on Margo Martin (whom I’ve never heard of before). Am getting a little “Hope Hicks” cringe.
LOL...the coat is just $280 and the jeans $80, but she looks like a million bucks!
