Why wasn’t this already in place ?

Even if the E-Mails are different departments it should be simple to do like this.

FirstName.LastName.Department@usgov.gov (I am guessing this is how it is right now.)

use.less.*@usgov.gov

or better yet:

*.*.*@usgov.gov

And NO HYPHENATED CRAP on last names ! If you’re Married then use your new last name.

Won’t work. Most email clients won’t accept an asterisk.
