Over 20 years ago, I was working in Nice, south of France. There would always be some hookers on the coastline. However, one week there’s LOADS of them, far, far more than normal. I was driving with one of the locals. He tells me, “oh yeah, the EU meeting is here this week. The demand for hooker and cocaine skyrocket”.
I was still young enough, naive enough, to think that politicians were held to a high standard. After all, how many campaigns are lost due to ‘immoral sex outside of the family’. Yet here, it was common knowledge what was going on.
All of a sudden, it didn’t shock me. It’s all fake. It’s power and money and everything that goes with it. That was when my political leanings really started to change. Then 9/11 happened and I witnessed how the D’s behaved - there was no other political direction viable.
I think many are very naive as to why goes on in the political class. In the UK, I hear stories that many are pedo’s. First you don’t believe it, then the scandals come - where everyone knew. Then you realize they all have similar dirt on each other and it’s a cesspool.
Yet there they are, on TV, with all the virtue signaling. It’s disgusting. To think they want anything to change would be the most absurd thing you could imagine.
About 45 years ago, my wife and I were vacationing in Europe and stopped in Nice for a few days. Two major disappointments and lessons learned:
1. The beach was all pebbles.
2. The topless women there shouldn’t be.
You could shave Bossie at the local dairy and get a smoother hide than what was seen on that beach. I swear those 60-70 year old women had been through a tannery.
