Easy fix: Denounce that time constraint as well. Make the announcement effective immediately.
Would could the UN do in response? Maybe pout, and then pass another meaningless resolution. But that’s about it.

Like I mentioner before, the Convention is actually not that bad. And it is completely voluntary to follow.
What is really bad is how the liberal choose to implement it!
I have no problem with giving asylum to few people persecuted by communists, islamists or similar abusers. But no to MILLIONS of people claiming some kind of phony persecution.
