There needs to be a federal law against de-banking for anything but commercial reasons. Failing that, several red states need to pass state laws against it with the ultimate sanction being pulling that bank’s charter to operate within the state if they are found guilty of having done so.

The banks that debank people with conservative or alt-right positions mostly have national charters or have branched into a red state from a blue state. The state legislatures or state banking departments lack jurisdiction in such matters.
