I hate rhetorical headlines. Redstate. Eh.
The answer is obvious: When it runs out of fuel or weather permits containment of an extreme fire hazard until conditions permit a return to prescribed burning to eliminate the hazard.
It will be interesting to see how bureaucracies - city, county, state, feds - respond to hard, prima facie evidence that leaving fuels unburned in high-risk areas is a form of intentional neglect directly culpable to felonies under criminal property damage & murder (negligent homicide at a minimum).
These fires undermines the narrative that extinguishing all fires is a good thing and destroys the basis for national & state policies of wildfire containment, coupled with negligent policies which do not include stewardship of the land with prescribed burns.
Iām hearing rain is forecasted for next week.šš»
in other words “THIS is how much the radical eviromentalists want YOU to pay For their enviroNMENTAL beliefs”. remember Californians...elections have consequences then everyone suffers the consequences. the stupid burns, literally.
Some rain would be nice. Crazy windy again this morning. This could all go from worse to worser very fast.
The response was swift and already announced. The Newsom Administration has (I kid you not) blamed Trump policies on
climate change for the current wildfire debacle.
