Breitbart ^ | 21Jan | Boyle

Posted on 01/21/2025 4:05:33 PM PST by qaz123

Rubio’s move here shows the federal workforce there’s new management across the federal government and that business as usual has come to an end. It also could upset some career bureaucrats in a Department where it’s commonplace to travel and deal with other countries. But the effort signals a broader push by the new administration to ensure that any and all federal government activities align with Trump’s agenda and vision–especially on the international stage.

If you’ve never dealt with these America-hating Leftists, firsthand, you may not think this is a big deal.

They hate America for all things America. They love socialism. They love being able to be assigned anywhere international where the government pays for everything but their liquor and drugs. But even a lot of the liquor is covered due to all the “parties” that are thrown.

Hopefully, somewhere on his ToDo List is completely dismantling and tossing USAID into an incinerator. A bonus would be finding out how horrible and nefarious Powers is and he can refer the case to Bondi and Patel to put her under the prison.

And let’s not forget about Nuland. She’s the worst of them all

Kissinger wanted to fire half the diplomatic corps. I dealt with one in the mid 70’s in Bangkok. A real asshole.

“And let’s not forget about Nuland. She’s the worst of them all.”

Absolutely, probably a MILLION DEAD thanks to her war in Ukraine (all to avenge the treatment of her grandparents by a Georgian, aka Stalin). She’ll easily make the short list with Stalin, Mao, and Pol Pot.

“Kissinger wanted to fire half the diplomatic corps. I dealt with one in the mid 70’s in Bangkok. A real asshole.”

Keep in mind that most come out of the “Kennedy School of Government” at Harvard and other similar ‘upper crust’ backgrounds - so yeah, you got a taste of what the rest of the world has to deal with, when it comes to diplomacy with the US.

Hopefully those days end too.

What is the need for them in the modern world? The expensive onsite diplomats and their luxury travel are an anachronism when you have Zoom, Microsoft Teams and the IPhone. They can probably dismiss 80 percent of them.

They are bad people.

Another thing to shake things up: demand all records from DSS about incidents involving Ambassadors or other SES types while overseas. To include going to the host nations and their govt/security/law enforcement/intel apparatus and see if any got caught doing some really nasty or illegal stuff.

IE….sexual tourism overseas, depending on what happened is still illegal in the U.S. and one can be prosecuted for stuff even it happened in India, Pakistan, Thailand, etc

The Kennedy School is not upper crust. It is 99% liberal or further left.

Here’s where it STINGS for them: Personal discussions, as opposed to phone or other electronic means, pretty much requires the assistance of at least one party to help intercept the discussion...unless the parties are really careless.

So, any plotting by the Deep State will always run the risk of getting the plotters into BIG TROUBLE...no way to be sure that you’re ‘off the radar’ now.

I’ve made a similar argument many times.

When it started, it took days, weeks, months for a courier to get a message to an Ambassdor, foreign leader and then a response.

Now, with iPhones, encrypted communications, jets where you can be anywhere in a day(flying civilian, let alone a govt plane), embassies with 100s of FSOs are a relic from the early 20th century.

Damn near every job, especially those dealing with trade, should be handled by contract individuals that are SMEs in that are.

No reason to have some socialist Harvard grad who never ran a lemonade stand negotiating a trade deal, when we can dispatch the meanest guys on Wall St.

Oh wait….Pres Trump did exactly that with Mnuchin, Ross, Lighthizer, & Navarro and it was awesome.

Or in other words, the CIA.….that too

I did details for USAID folks in Iraq a long time ago. None of them were CIA, I promise you. There may have been some but none that every dealt as a security contractor for the State Dept

Unfortunately, I deal with State Drpt officials and Foreign Service officers daily. Your assessment is correct but I would add that they are nasty with a strong sense of entitlement. You are correct about how they have everything paid for with our money. I have yet to understand the purpose of foreign service officers. Eliminate them tomorrow and save our country a lot of money.

Stalin may have been born to Georgians but he was the leader of Russia.

You are correct. When they go to Foreign Service school, one of the first classes they take was called. “How to Work a Room, 101”.
We spends TONS of money moving these people all over the world every few years, pay for multiple homes, pay per diems that get pocketed, etc. And thry all serm to hate America.

As far as I know, Stalin never led Russia.

You nailed both of your comments.

I’ll offer one thing and, for me, it’s another example of “art imitating life” or vice versa depending on your perspective.

We have FSOs that love their America. The America that revolves around Northern Va, DC, Georgetown and all the other locales dominated by well paid, predominantly white liberals. It’s Panem

They loathe every other part of America filled with blue collar folks that stand for the National Anthem, take off their hats, hold their hand over their heart and know the words. All of those people are necessary evils that are nothing but serfs.
