The study bolsters other research that found GLP-1 medications aid in the treatment and prevention of Alzheimer’s disease by reducing inflammation Dieting and losing weight does the same think with out taking a new expensive questionable drug.

Sounds like the “snake oil” sold back in the 1800s. It will cure anything.
In a decade or so you will be seeing commercials from scumbag lawyers wanting to help you if you ever tool a glp-1.
To: nickcarraway
Of course it does everything—because it's a $1000 per month.

Understand that GLP is a naturally occurring hormone in the human body. We produce it as part of natural processes. The problem is that the food industry has hijacked our body chemistry through garbage like fructose which is causing our naturally occurring GLP to be ineffective.
GLPs are being sold as peptides which are less regulated then actual drugs which is why you can buy them from any online merchant anymore. The issue isn’t that it’s a pharmaceutical. The issue is that it’s a hormone with little study and is likely to cause the body to stop producing it naturally which means you’re hooked for life.
Similar overuse of melatonin, another OTC hormone, is starting to show interesting effects on our sleep patterns. As a long time melatonin user if, when I stop taking it or reduce my intake, my sleep suffers. With GLPs, you stop taking them and become literally insatiable. You won’t feel full and will stuff yourself sick.

This follows the usual pattern. In a few years the drug companies will be paying settlements. But it will be pennies on the dollars they make selling poison.

My best friend’s sister is on one of those drugs and after 2 weeks, had to have an emergency appendectomy. That isn’t uncommon with these drugs but she hadn’t heard of that side effect before starting it.

As of mid 2023, Ozempic was not cleared for weight loss. It’s big brother wegovy was. I know of no changes.

It’s already starting. GLP-1 drugs are going to make a ton of lawyers rich. It’s poison.

GLP is an inhibitor of DPP4 & gives the diabetes face.
adenosine diphosphate(DPP4) creates ATP which feeds your mitochondria. Far better off with Niacin in the morning and melatonin(creates ATP) at night Ozempic and Novo Nordisk makes GLP
All hydrocarbons(All Vit B's) release insulin & other beneficial acts. My issue Vit B's are NF-κB pathway inhibition The stronger they are the more effective the inhibitor likely the longer they last
We're light beings: NF-κB used to create ATP & activate B cells
Ozempic: C187 H291 N45 O59
Mounjaro: C225 H348 N48 O68
Vit B6(sun bathing becomes: C18 H39 NO2
Niacin: C6 H5 NO2 (I've taken daily 180X RDA for three days. To see what it feels like🙃)
Octane: C8 H18 (Gasoline: not water-soluble. Don't take 🤣)
I'm saying this stuff is to strong
The benefits of hydrocarbons are numerous (ask if you want to know what else it does which are fantastic.) everyone should take high dose of Vit B's. though they counter ATP production and create Serotonin. So you should take it in the morning and Melatonin at night.
here is the study under mostly a pay wall
Generally I agree with them but its to strong and cost way to much. Vitamin B's are far more effective, better doses and a hell of lot cheaper.

For your consideration.
https://www.drugs.com/medical-answers/ozempic-wegovy-cause-blindness-3578221/
“Yes, there is a potential link between Ozempic and Wegovy (both containing semaglutide) and an increased risk of non-arteritic anterior ischemic optic neuropathy (NAION), a serious eye condition that can lead to blindness.”
It doesn’t happen to everybody by a long shot but to risk blindness for 20lbs seems like a poor deal.
