Yes, this is right up by my favorite ski mountain. Jay Peak. Which has received over 200 inches of snow so far this winter season.

But as you said above, it's not the crossing at Jay peak, it's further to the Northeast at a major crossing. I've been thru the crossing N of Jay decades ago for a Molson run, back when Brador and Molson Export were not available in the U.S. A very sleepy crossing, we had our car, a Black BMw 2002, thoroughly inspected for drugs and when the Canadian Border cop found a kodak film cannister in the glovebox he literally exclaimed "Ah HA" only to find film.

A buddy had a place up in Cannan, VT on the lake. One side was in VT. The other in PQ. He bought it because he loved to snowmobile in the winter.
He could rent it out too because it was lakefront.

We crossed the border to go to a club over the border. They pulled one of our buddies out of the car because he had a dark skin tone. He looked like he was Hispanic. Though he was really Italian. Then questioned him for about ten minutes. He had an NH ID too.

When I was living in Orchard Park, NY(home of the Bills)we would also cross the border to buy Brador and Molson Extra Stock. This was back in the 1980s when beer in NY was low alcohol content. There were also Gentlemen’s clubs in Fort Erie, Ontario. I went there one time in the 1990s and Jim Kelly was there with a couple of the other Bills players.
