A firmly convinced permanent change of mind on the basis of Jesus' gracious substitutionary sacrifice is the core essence for the reader to accept and identify with.

Which is why I choose to post the article, presuming he has persevered and will. i just could not find much else on him in my brief search.

Neither could I, but the text was a promising but doctrinally ambiguous account of the actions of what I assess to be two "infants" in Christ, likely the protagonist and maybe the scribe.

As far as your judgment on articles like this, my estimate of your maturity would be in the nature of the highest stage mentioned by Beloved John in his letter to the breadth of his own discipled students comprising different stages of maturity in The Faith. Referring to 1 John 2:12-14 (AV):

12I write unto you, little children, because your sins are forgiven you for his name's sake.
13I write unto you, fathers, because ye have known him that is from the beginning. I write unto you, young men, because ye have overcome the wicked one. I write unto you, little children, because ye have known the Father.
14I have written unto you, fathers, because ye have known him that is from the beginning. I have written unto you, young men, because ye are strong, and the word of God abideth in you, and ye have overcome the wicked one.
Ecclesiastes 7:16-18 might have something to say about evaluating another's spiritual status, as well. Eh?
