These Scriptures are about people that outwardly portray themselves as religious but have no relationship with Jesus Christ. It’s sad that you are lecturing people and judging people without knowing what the Word says or means. I believe it is YOU that needs to heed the warning.

The Rev's presentation, as 1 other Freeper indicated, was based on MLKJr.'s "I have a dream" speech which MLKJr delivered during the March on Washington for Jobs and Freedom on August 28, 1963. The content seemed appropriate considering it was afterall, the MLK federal holiday. The delivery style was over the top and hard for me to watch, but that may well be a matter of personal style/choice. After watching the 2021 PBS documentary mini-series, "The Black Church", I guess the Rev's delivery was similar in style to the "Mississippi Whoop". Being an introvert, I have always been skeptical of theatrics in matters of worship. I know that will offend some devout charismatic and pentecostal Christians. Here is an example ...
