I’ll tell you who Haley isn’t. She isn’t a born citizen by consent. That is to say, as the founders and framers of the U.S. Constitution said, unlike born subjects, natural born Citizens must be born by consent. And during that time, that consent was given by their citizen-father. Later, when women were given the right to vote, consent was given by both citizen-parents to ensure their offspring would be solely U.S. Citizens at birth.
