That was my thought as well. This is retribution for closing stores (or even THREATENING to close stores) in the ghettos.
Some pharmacists wouldn’t fill scripts for iver.
I remember that now, but I don't understand how they got away with refusing a doctor's script for a patient, especially a medication that isn't illegal, or a controlled substance. I did a search, and found that they can legally refuse to fill controlled substances, but I would think they would have to give a reason, and show evidence as to why, and their decision should be able to be challenged. The search also said that they can refuse to fill a prescription if they find the medication to be medically inappropriate, which since they aren't medical doctors, how are they qualified to determine that? They don't know the patient personally and aren't involved in their treatment. It doesn't make any sense to me.
Walgreens were the only ones to give me straight answers during covid.
Probably has something to do with that.
She was the only pharmacist who would fill a ivermectin prescription.

I want my Weatherwax back!
“ignored its obligations to ensure that these drugs did not fall into the wrong hands.”
So the patient shows up with a valid prescription from a licensed physician. The responsibility is with the physician. The pharmacy is not a police force responsible for detecting bad behavior by others IMHO.
“not issued in the usual course of professional practice. “ How is the pharmacy supposed to police this vague standard of a “usual course of professional practice”? WTF does this even mean?
