Who invaded who? Yeah the South sucked too, but they didn't send an army to force the North to do what they wanted.

The North was the aggressors, and then they misled everyone about why they did it.

And no Southerner ever profited off the slave trade?

Of course they did, but they didn't constantly preach about how wrong it was while making 60% of the profits from it.

So far as the South was concerned, slavery was acceptable. It is the North that was always moralizing about how horrible it was while sucking up most of the money from it.
