Why is this news. This happens all the time. We used to put them in the welding bay under a tarp until the medical examiner could release the to the funeral director. Snowsports are great hobbies, but there are risks. as a sign in the rescue building used to warn “Caution snow may be slippery”. I politely told my wife she was done with skiing about 5 years ago. Were old, to risky. I was a lifelong skier and in that time had 2 near fatal wrecks.

Yes, unfortunately, it does.

A twelve year old boy died at Cranmore Mountain in North Conway, NH over the holidays. He went off the trail and into a tree.

BIL is over 60. He busted his nose, got a concussion and spent a few days in the hospital after a skiing accident. He couldn’t drive for 3 months.
