Everyone who was nonviolent receives, on a case-by case basis, a full pardon. IMHO.

I agree. The pardons should be based AT LEAST as much on how the DOJ and DC courts treated the accused as they are on what the accused did! The pardons should be a rebuke to the DC courts and the entire way the DOJ went after mostly innocent people.

There are probably a FEW bad people, but no one was bad enough to deserve the way the DOJ responded. If a piece of bad evidence is used to convict someone who was PROBABLY guilty, they often let the probably guilty guy walk so cops won’t create fake evidence and DAs won’t use it in the future.

That is what the pardons should do. Along with an investigation into HOW the FBI responded, WHY they responded that way, and CHANGES to how politically active defendants are treated in places like DC & NYC.

Case by case reviews will take time.

They’ve been sent to jail due to a presumption of guilt rather than innocence. I favor an immediate release. Each case can then be reviewed. The innocent can be pardoned and perhaps compensated. If anyone is guilty, they have served their time already.
