Why are so many so excited about ‘saving’ tiktok?
I don’t want to save it per se, I’m just concerned with the fallout from any decision. Should the left cheat to get into power again, I could see them using any ruling as a cudgel to try to force Musk to sell X to some leftist so that they can have control again.
Granted it’s understood that TikTok = spyware for the Chinese. If Musk WERE to get it, and were able to strip out the bits that send metrics to the CCP, I’d still be concerned about the precedent.
